Essential Functions:

Making an examination of machine or mechanical equipment to diagnose sources of trouble; dismantling the machines, replacing the defective components, and performing those repairs in an efficient manner to minimize downtime.

· To efficiently perform the work assignments in accordance with the established time schedule.

· Ensures that the quality of the job is foremost and always performed within established expectations.

· Must be able to assist Maintenance Mechanic with repairs.

· Be able to remove and install pumps.

· Be able to perform preventative maintenance duties.

· To always work carefully and safely on the job and report any unsafe conditions or acts to your Supervisor or safety committee person immediately. As an associate, you are to know, follow, and encourage all safety practices as outlined in your handbook and posted on the bulletin boards. Working safely is a condition of employment.

· Must have some knowledge of plumbing.

· Perform minor machine repair: remove broken bolts, keys, etc.

· Keeps the Supervisor advised on problems that need attention.

· Keeping your workstation clean and orderly throughout the shift.

· To perform other duties as assigned by the Supervisor.

· Must be capable of standing on concrete floors during a normal 8-10 hour schedule shift.

· Will be required to perform bending, lifting, reaching, and climbing to efficiently perform this job.

Education:

High school diploma or GED.

Preferred Minimal Certifications:

· Forklift Certification

· Aerial Lift Certification
